Show up when people search for what you offer
I fix what keeps your website off Google’s first page, then improve and write the pages your clients search for, so more of them get in touch.
Free, and no sales pitch.
Send me your URL and I’ll tell you the first SEO fix I’d make.
Good at what you do, hard to find on Google
When someone needs a service like yours, they search for it. If your website doesn’t show up on the first page, most of them never see it.
Usually it comes down to a few fixable things. Google can’t read some of your pages properly. Your services share one page instead of having their own. Or your page titles use your industry’s words while clients search in plain ones.
Meanwhile, the business that ranks first gets the call, even if you’re better at the job.
What SEO with me covers
Keyword research
I find the words your clients type into Google when they need you, including the ones your competitors already rank for. Every other step builds on this list.
Technical fixes
The behind-the-scenes problems that stop Google from finding, reading or trusting your pages:
- Pages Google can’t find or isn’t showing in its results
- A missing or broken sitemap, the list of pages you give Google
- Redirects for moved or deleted pages, so old links still work
- Broken links and error pages
- Slow pages, especially on mobile
Pages that match what people search
- Page titles, headings and descriptions (the short text under your link in Google) rewritten around your keywords
- A separate page for each service, so Google can show the right one
- Location pages if you serve more than one area
- New pages and FAQs that answer the questions your clients ask
- Copy I write myself, so each page works for Google and for the person reading it
Local search
- Google Business Profile set up or improved, so you show up on Google Maps
- The same business name, address and phone number everywhere you’re listed
Tracking
- Google Search Console and analytics set up, so you can see which searches bring visitors and which pages bring enquiries
This is where most SEO work happens. Your plan is built around what your site needs, and Google’s updates shape what I focus on next.
How an SEO project runs

Check and report
I confirm Google is picking up the changes and walk you through the results in Search Console.
A first round of fixes usually takes 1 to 2 weeks. Rankings then build over the following weeks and months.
Happy with the progress? You can continue monthly, with a weekly report on the work done and any results so far.
Is SEO the right place to start?
A good fit if
- You already have a website, and you’re happy with how it looks.
- You offer services that people search for on Google.
- You want search traffic that turns into enquiries.
- You can give rankings a few months to grow.
Probably not a fit if
- You need leads this week. Paid ads may suit you better for now.
- Your website is old or hard to edit. A new lead generation website, with SEO built in, may be the better investment.

Questions about SEO
How long does SEO take to work?
Technical fixes can show up within a few weeks, once Google revisits your pages. New pages and higher rankings usually take a few months, depending on how many competitors you have.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
Nobody can, because Google decides the rankings. Be careful with anyone who promises it. I’ll show you what I changed, why I changed it and what happened afterwards.
Is SEO a one-off project or a monthly service?
It starts as a one-off project that fixes your site and adds the pages it’s missing. If you’re happy with the progress, you can continue on a monthly plan. Monthly clients get a weekly report covering the work done and any results so far.
Do you help with Google Maps and local search?
Yes. I set up or improve your Google Business Profile and make sure your business name, address and phone number match everywhere you’re listed. Both help you show up when people search for a service near them.
Does SEO also help with AI search?
Partly. AI tools like ChatGPT often draw on pages that already rank well, so good SEO helps. Getting named in AI answers takes extra work, which is what AI search visibility covers.
What do I need to give you?
Access to your website, plus Google Search Console and your Google Business Profile if you have them. I’ll also ask about your services, your best clients and the areas you cover.
